Program Information – Thursdays in East Edmonton

This Spring we are running 2, six week programs in East Edmonton on Thursdays!  Participants have the option of registering for programs starting April 6th or May 18th OR registering for both programs, that’s 12 weeks at a discounted price!

Our Thursday Programs are offered at the following times:  11:30AM – 12:30PM, 1:30PM – 2:30PM, 4:30PM – 5:30PM or 6:00PM – 7:00PM.

**  5 – 8 year old children must have a parent accompany them during the series **

The program is for boys and girls aged 5 to 16 years. Registration for the programs starting April 4th will be limited to 25 participants.  Registration for programs starting May 16th will be limited to 50 participants.   Kids ranging in age from 5 to 8 are required to have parent/guardian participate with them.


$50 per child per six week series OR $90 per child for all 12 weeks!   Price also includes a BBQ event at Blackfoot Provincial Recreation Area. In order to participate in our Kids Run Wild programs, 2017 membership with the Edmonton Overlanders Orienteering Club is required.  The 2017 household membership is $35 per year which provides a household membership needed for our insurance purposes.  If you paid for the membership when you signed up for the Kids Run Wild in the Fall 2016 session then you already have a 2017 membership.

What to wear

Footwear: Running shoes with good tread for traction, and laces so your shoes stay on your feet in the mud.

Clothing: Clothes you can run in. We recommend long pants and long sleeves so you don’t get scratched by branches and prickles. On cool days or evenings, dress in layers so you can take  a layer off when you warm up.
