We utilise Hawrelak Park, Whitemud Park North, Kinsmen Park & occasionally Laurier Park.  Additional information on all four parks is provided below.

The orienteering flag symbol shows the likely meeting location.

HAWRELAK PARK

Directions: West off Groat Road near the south end of Groat Bridge.  The main picnic shelter is located by the east side of the lake. Park in the main parking lot.  We use two sites in Hawrelak Park; check the written words on the schedule to make sure this is the correct location.
NB for 2019: there will probably be road construction on the Groat Bridge; you may need to approach the park via Saskatchewan Drive or from the south.

WHITEMUD NORTH

Directions:  Access to the park is north off Fox Drive onto Keillor Road; this is easiest to do when heading westbound. Check the exact location details in the events listing, and watch for the club banner.
Possible location #1 –  just after the amenities (washrooms) building on the right hand side of the road -turn left into the parking lot.
Possible location #2 – follow the road past the amenities building and under Fox Drive to the end of the road to the Alfred Savage Pavilion which has washrooms and a lobby open until 10:00pm.  There is limited parking at the end of the road; you may have to go back along Keillor Road to one of the other two parking lots.

KINSMEN PARK

Directions:  Access at the bottom of Walterdale Hill or Queen Elizabeth Park Road.  Take care not to miss the turn as it’s a long way round for another try!
Once in the park, stay to the right and follow the road next to the river, until the parking lot just after the tennis courts.  If the parking lot is full, parking is allowed along the side of the road you drove in on or in the main parking lot.
There are seasonal flush toilets just to the north side of the parking lot.
ETS Route 9, northbound.

LAURIER PARK

Directions: Valley Zoo parking lot, access off Buena Vista Road. One possible start location is marked by the orienteering flag symbol. NB: the northern half of the map area is an off-leash dog area.
