DESCRIPTION: Join us for an egg-citing afternoon of exploration and fun at our Free Community Try-It Orienteering Event!  \n\n\n\nThis spring-themed event is the perfect opportunity to shake off the winter chill and leap into the warmth of community spirit. \n\n\n\nParticipants can pick-up their maps anytime between 1:00PM-2:30PM.  All activities close at 3:00PM.  \n\n\n\n No experience? No problem! Our friendly guide\, Peter\, will be there to show you the ropes and get you started on your journey. It’s all about fun\, discovery\, and celebrating SPRING!Whether you’re a seasoned navigator or new to the sport\, we welcome everyone to discover the joy of orienteering. So come on down\, and let’s make some memories! \n\n\n\nThis event is free and open to all ages. DESCRIPTION:Kids Run Wild Family Program Try-it Event at Rundle Park \n\n\n\nNot sure what to expect from the sport of orienteering &/or our Kids Run Wild Family programs?  This free try-it event provides participants with the option to try our Kids Run Wild Family program before committing to a series.   \n\n\n\nAt a Kids Run Wild free try-it session\, families can expect a fun and adventurous orienteering experience in nature\, where they’ll learn map navigation skills and explore the course at their own pace. \n\n\n\nOur Spring Kids Run Wild Family programs have been generously supported by the Every Kid Can Play grant from the Alberta Government\, providing you with two registration options: You can choose the standard 5-week program at $45\, plus the annual household membership fee\, or you can utilize the grant funds to cover the program fee\, with only the annual household membership fee required. \n\n\n\n**Please Note: Families MUST RSVP for this event

DESCRIPTION:Join Peter at the Fraser Community League (14720 21 Street) for a Replacement Family Day Community Try-It event on Saturday\, March 1\, 2025. \n\n\n\nPick up your map and listen to brief instructions anytime between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Courses will close at 6:30 PM. \n\n\n\nThis event is held with the permission of the Fraser Community League. However\, All participants will need to sign the Orienteering Canada insurance waiver.
