Free Orienteering Events for 2024

Do you want to experience the fun and adventure of Kids Run Wild with your family?

This complimentary program is made possible by The Town of Devon, Edmonton Overlanders Orienteering Club, Kids Run Wild & Alberta Orienteering Association’s collaboration, and is funded in part by the Pathfinders: Every-Kid Can Play Initiative through the Government of Alberta Every Kid Can Play (EKCP) Program!

This program runs on Monday evenings in May, with two June dates held as backup dates for weather issues.
Kids Run Wild is a program that introduces Families to the sport of orienteering. Orienteering is a creative treasure hunting sport that promotes outdoor active play. Orienteering is a great way to develop physical fitness, mental skills and outdoor confidence, while enjoying time outside as a family! Please note that adults are expected to participate with their children.

  • A map of the park with the markers shown on it.
  • Quick introduction to the sport of orienteering.
