SSO Program (13+)

Join EOOC’s running series, Speed and Stamina for Orienteering (SSO), hosted by Elizabeth Hutsenko. Elizabeth is a former member of the Ukrainian National School and Junior National Orienteering Teams, with a degree in Tourism and Recreation and a specialty in Active Recreation. She has extensive experience in designing and delivering running training programs for various levels and goals.

SSO consists of two types of sessions: Speed Training and Stamina Training. Speed Training sessions will help you improve your pace, agility and sprinting skills, while Stamina Training sessions will help you build your endurance and stamina skills. Most sessions include an element of orienteering. All sessions start at 7:00PM, immediately after our Kids Run Wild Program. 

Sessions rotate through park spaces in Edmonton depending on activities for a given night.

** Participants who are 13 – 15 years old, can join these sessions with an adult family member.
